Ik had geen clue over welke airline het zou kunnen gaan (bij vrijwel iedere Europese maatschappij vliegen Nederlanders), maar e.e.a. is dankzij Purno en WW1FA nu duidelijk!Ik identifieer geen enkele "club"! De enigen die offended zijn, zijn jij en Purno wat het nogal doorzichtig zou kunnen maken om welke maatschappij het gaat. Volgens mijn post kan het iedere maatschappij zijn die wel eens een turnaround in Duitsland heeft!

Wettelijk: 10 uur van te voren niet drinken en maximale toegestane alcholgehalte in het bloed 0,2 promille. m.a.w als je na 10 uur niet drinken nog steeds alchol in je bloed hebt zitten is het wel iets meer dan een glaasje bij het eten geweest. Maar evengoed wel balen voor die gast.
EU-OPS...Je Ops Manual Part A zal de regels mbt dit overgenomen hebben in Operating Procedures...minimum in Europa is bepaald 10 uur, companies en landen kunnen dit strenger interpreteren door er 8 uur van te maken.
Ops manual van het bedrijf heeft zelfs 12 uur gesteld (KLM) maar kun je me een referentie geven naar de specifieke EU OPS waar dit staat.
p.s.2 Heb gelukkig nog een oude versie van de jar ops gedownload op m'n pc want heb de nieuwe EU OPS nog niet kunnen vinden op de website van de EASA of hoe dat dan ook mag heten.
EASA OPS zei:GM OPS.GEN.020(a) Crew responsibilities
GENERAL
In accordance with paragraph 7.g. of Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 (Essential
requirements for air operations), a crew member must not perform allocated duties on board
an aircraft when under the influence of psychoactive substances or alcohol or when unfit due
to injury, fatigue, medication, sickness or other similar causes. This should be understood as
including the following:
1. Effects of deep water diving and blood donation, and allowing for a certain time period
between these activities and returning to flying;
2. Without prejudice to more restrictive national regulations, the consumption of alcohol
while on duty or less than 8 hours prior to the commencement of duties, and
commencing a flight duty period with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.2 per mille.
KLC BOM zei:ALCOHOL
Although alcohol consumption may be socially acceptable, it has a detrimental effect on human skills and efficiency which is particularly noted in relation to flying duties. The effects of alcohol are primarily related to levels in the blood which vary individually according to the quantity and rate of consumption. The effects may last significantly long after the last alcoholic intake (a hangover may last for 72 hours). Crew members must comply not only with the requirements of the European Authorities but also with the KLM/KLC CAO/CLA:
– Crew members shall not consume alcohol while on standby or during the flight duty period.
– Crew members shall not consume alcohol within 10 hours prior to commencement of a duty or the time a flight duty can be assigned (’reserve/beschikbaar’).
– Only small amounts of alcohol may be consumed in the period between 24 hours and 10 hours prior to the beginning of a duty or the time a flight duty can be assigned (’reserve/beschikbaar’).
– Crew members shall not commence a flight duty period with a blood alcohol level in excess of 0.2 mg/ml (milligrams per millilitre).
– A crew member shall not perform any duties on an aircraft when subject to a temporary (maximum 24 hours) driver’s license suspension due to driving under the influence of alcohol.
KLC Staff Manual zei:ABSORPTION AND EXCRETION
Alcohol is digested by the stomach and intestines. This process can take 2 to
6 hours, depending on the amount of food present. After digestion, the alcohol
is carried to the tissues and body fluids. Alcohol leaves the body slowly. It
takes approximately 1 to 1.30 hours for the alcohol from 30cc whisky or 250cc
beer to leave the body. The percentage of pure ethyl alcohol is 47-95% for
whisky, 48-54% for brandy, and 20% for sherry.
From the point of view of safety, and given the time needed for the absorption
and oxidation of the alcohol, excessive consumption of alcohol by Flight Crew
is forbidden between 24 hours and 10 hours before sign-on time or the
beginning of a stand-by shift. The following maximum can be used as a
guideline:
- 100cc whisky, or
- three 40 cc glasses of Dutch gin (jenever), or
- four glasses of beer/wine.
THE CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL IS FORBIDDEN:
- Ten hours prior to the commencement of reporting time, during a flight, or at
the beginning of a scheduled stand-by shift.
- During XXDHC flights.
- In KLM buildings.
- In public places where staff appear in uniform. This does not apply to official
events organized by KLM that Flight Crew are invited to attend in uniform.
- Flight Crew are not permitted to drink alcohol-free beer during flights, since
this could give the wrong impression to passengers.
- During the trip, the Captain is responsible for compliance with the above
regulations. He/she shall report violations of these rules to Flight Ops/DCC.
KLC Staff Manual zei:If the breath-alcohol level exceeds 90μg/L (0.2‰), an official report will be
made. If the breath-alcohol level is between 260μg/L (0.6‰) and 434μg/L
(1.0‰), the crew member must surrender his/her Crew Member
Certificate/Flying License, which may be withheld if there are previous
injunctions.
If the breath-alcohol level is higher than 434μg/L, the crew member must
surrender his/her Crew Member Certificate/Flying License, which will be
withheld. The person in question may submit a request to the Public
Prosecutor (Officier van Justitie) for the Certificate/License to be returned. The
decision on whether to honor this request is taken by the competent court.
In all cases where a crew member’s breath-alcohol level exceeds 90μg/L, the
crew member will also be prohibited from flying. The duration of the prohibition
(max. 24 hours) will depend on the amount of alcohol consumed. As
mentioned before, an official report will also be made.
