Hele slechte opleiding
Hele slechte opleiding
AIS
https://www.aisairlines.com/jobs/
Vnv ingelicht, ilent volgt.

English as requested =>
9500 euro for atpl theory credit, very expensive, students left for g air after achieving the theory credit as they saw / knew that there are a lot of problems at ais.
125000 euro (integrated study for frozen atpl can be done at different places with good quality for a way cheaper price, so aspiring cadets look around!) full conventional / steam gages aircraft which had a lot of problems (or out of service / broken); A lot had no spacing 8,33, students are limited to airspaces where spacing was not required. Credit card refused when refuelling at other aerodromes, a student was required to fly back to base lelystad as there was no fuel left to finish the longer planned flight.
Fuel uplift for the socatas was done using a small refuelling truck connected to a tractor (farm vehicle), driving to a local tank station for cars, dangerous good cert required and in my knowledge I do not think this 98 grade car fuel is approved for aviation fuel, even though the socatas can fly on it.
There is only 1 cpl aircraft! 1! which was out of service / broken occasionally but the Biggest problem; There is only 1 multi engine aircraft (!!!) which was a lot of times out of service / broken. A lot of students experienced an average delay up to a half year (one case where a student waited for 1 year and left to a different flight school to finish his training) Problem is well known among the people from ais, as even instructors who did the integrated frozen atpl course at ais experienced the problems with multi engine aswell (so it is going on for over 5 years) During the wait your bills continues, for example the interest you need to pay over your hugh debt with the bank and other costs etc etc etc.
Jetstream maintenance has priority over student.
A lot of false promises like that aircraft will be repaired next week or in the oncoming weeks but it did not happen until far beyond what was promised. During my wait for the multi engine aircraft spoke with new classes and told them they also will wait for the multi engine, they did not believe me but it happened to them aswell.
A colleague student had a real engine failure on the multi engine aircraft during his final exam, exam canceled (we have evidence on paper!)
A colleague student did a groundschool without instructor.
MCC for 3 days on a citation 550 fnpt II. Unbelievable as CRM and MCC are very important in Aviation and normal Flight Schools are doing there MCC for 3 weeks on a B737 sim.
In the previous integrated atpl contract (now you sign up / pay for the integrated atpl course including tr js after your atpl credit) it is stated that you will finish your course in 18 months, but a lot of students did the course in 30 + months
Accomodation, 30 min from the airport, 315 euro / month shared with 3 colleague students, indeed it is there dirty as already mentioned in the forum.
TR at the moment, JS 32 turboprop 19 pax, 30k euro
https://www.aisairlines.com/jobs/
for 1 year contract. Super high pay to fly with a salary for one year that barely supersede the 30k you have invested. Future prospect after that year is very low, turboprop companies like eastern will hire you but you need to get in there yourself. Do you really want in these times above 100k+ study debt + 30 k euro tr js and on top of that to invest in an another tr for your next airline...
Ais airlines pays you late or insufficient, day money for weekend is not provided. As earlier mentioned in the Forum you will stay longer away from home versus what is stated in your contract.
Why are these problems not well known in the general aviation public? This is because there is a fear culture; if you are going to complain or go to court for a trial ais will work against you, delaying your study, acting difficult or threatening you for not providing a school reference letter which is required at multiple airline. Students have been threatened for their licence or reference letter, if they had a extra session they require you to pay first on top of your 125k debt before giving it to you...
To elaborate, there was a student who needed to pay 5000 euro first (amount inflicted afterwards...) for the js groundschool before he get his airline reference letter (we have evidence on paper!), js groundschool had a duration of 10 days, most of the time self study, instructor had double tasks for ais being also a duty officer for ais airlines, he could not be at two places at the same time. Fire training was done in the classroom (theory) and swim training in a local swimming pool (this was considered luxery as others did it outside...) This person did not sign anything with ais airlines! So incredibly expensive 500 euro a day for theory class...
The list goes on and on and is exhaustive, there is so many problems..
In summary, a lot of court cases has been fought against ais, a lot of headache and debt, stress what is not normal during a course to become a professional airline pilot.
== Remember that those students will be given the privilege and responsibility one day to carry over 150 people in transport jet aircraft over europe or anywhere over the world. The fundamentals are formed during the early stages of flight training. ==
What is happening over here is not healthy and therefor we are fighting to get this right, we have informed the union of dutch commercial airline pilots, we are planning to inform the dutch civil aviation authority soon.
