Rossair will fold wings in a week , or latest 2 weeks. Apart of the aspect that Euromanx might not have paid tem, conditions to keep an AOC were not given @ Rossair as well. Unpaid pensionfonds, poor maintenance were always garanteed. JAR ops and JAR ops are differnt sometimes....
Orange was setup and registered in NL because Rossair is definetely runing out of money. The people behind are more or less the same as in Rossair.The idea was to swop from Rossair to Orange with a couple of contract and employees (once the AOC approval is received)but without the huge debts of Rossair. The ATR `s are owned by an Italian living in South Africa. The Beech 1900 ,at least 2 are flying in Lybia. I know that meanwhile a German operator is as well flying in Lybia for the same company.Salaries are not paid, a number of pilots started a court case which is due for decision in December. In addition none of the pensions were paid over the last monthes. The airplanes are in a poor technical condition, some are not even airworthy. Authorties are accepting this, because thepromises were made to take the staff from Rossair into Orange.
But no contracts, no fund , NO ORANGE , an a cople of jobless pilots . Extremley poor are those who recently paid forTypratings.
It seems to be a matter of days. And don`t blame Euromanx for not paying them. In earlier days Euromanx had have to pay the maintenance bills of Rossair in order to return the ATR from Schreiner back into Service. As I said, 1 is short, the other even shorter
