Legend
For all those people who STILL don't get it
For all those people who STILL don't get it
For all those people who STILL don't get it
I've said it before and I'll say it again - you cannot achieve the right result with the wrong people. The people running EAG/Holland Exel are completely incapable of running an airline. Employees are just along for the ride - they have no effect whatsoever on the eventual outcome. All the hard work and effort by employees means nothing. Sorry - but that's the hard reality.
ONZIN
When I was in Brussel in October I met a few Belgium Exel employees. They told me almost word for word the story that appeared in De Telegraaf. They also told me the name of the person at Holland Exel who forced the crew into this - no surprises there.
(telegrap 16/12)
Suggest you read what Erik de Vlieger himself has stated in the papers about the situation at EAG. Erik isn't exactly helping matters with his increasingly bizzarre behaviour. I notice you don't mention this. Care to comment on the articles that have appeared in the other Dutch newspapers? The NRC article is a must read for all EAG employees - it describes in great detail how Erik conducts business.

Blijven roepen in de pers!
Again read what Niek has been saying in the papers. Niek is only interested in the Caribbean operation. This will not be anything to do with EAG. I have my doubts as to whether KLM will do business with Niek.
Erik has withdrawn his support from the EAG. Personal opinion - I don't believe he will put another penny into EAG.
It's pretty obvious what's going to happen - the writing is on the wall - if you chose to read it.
Happened to myself and others at air holland charter/Martinair/DutchBird. I know it's not fair - but that's life. A job-for-life is a thing of the past. All you can do as an individual is to ensure your qualifications meet market demand. Then you pick up the pieces and move on. You have to accept that this is part of the career you've chosen. It's important to keep some perspective - it's just a job
For what it's worth I've always had another job to go to when I needed it. The only time I've ever been unemployed was when it was my choice to do so.
I've also found that things have a way of working themselves out.
