Mijn baas heeft een grote add gezet in de USA Today (alweer) en is opzoek naar piloten. Als ik je aandraag voor een interview krijk ik 500 Dollar.

Info:
Training is 2 maanden. Ze stoppen je in je eigen kamer in hotel, en dokken je 200 dollar per week + voer.
Junior is MSP en DTW, dus die krijg je. IOE is meestal vanuit je nieuwe base, maar kan ook vanaf MEM zijn.
Reserve is 2/3 maanden, verwacht echer rond de 70 uur te vliegen per maand during reserve.
Hoe dan ook, je hebt een 75 uur pay garantie.
upgrade time: ronde de 1.5 jaar (zegt de company. mensen op de line zeggen rond de 2.5)
vooruitzichten: Net 15 nieuwe CRJ's gekregen van mama Northwest. Er komen 70 en 90-seaters aan, en het nieuwe contract moet voor de kerst rond zijn.. Zo niet, donuts en koffie menemen naar MEM begin volgend jaar tijdens het rondjes lopen!
union: PCL is ALPA.
PCL gaat je niet (net als alle airlines) helpen aan een workpermit..

- Maintain a high level of personal decorum, professional conduct and personal appearance.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Airport operations in all types of weather. Long periods of sitting with exposure to bright sunlight. Airport ramp operations are noisy and can be hazardous without due caution.

Jumpseaten de hele wereld rond kan met alle (US) maatschappijen. Is uiteraad gratis maar enkel IPB. Ook krijg je ID90 en 75 voor familie. Verder krijg je 12 buddy pasjes om vrienden mee te nemen 12x per jaar IPB op de hele Northwest familie (NWA, PCL en Mesaba) Met de meeste grote cargo jongens mogen we ook mee, mits je 48 uur van te voren minimaal ze een fax en belletje geeft. In dat geval zorgen ze vaak (polar/atlas) zelfs voor gratis maatlijden voor je aan boord!! (reden genoeg voor mij om een vlucht naar Timboektoe te pakken op mn days off)
Met neefje KLM weet ik niet wat de deal is, maar heb het gevoel dat dat een cursus moelijk doen is..
Mochten KLM (of KLM dochters) piloten aan onze gate staan mag de captain de knoop doorhakken. Beetje jammer dat dit visa versa niet het geval is..
Overige jumpseaters moeten op onze lijst staan of bij een 121/135 maatschappij werken. Captain mag de knoop doorhakken.
Als je maatschappij CASS is kun je bij ons in de cockpit zitten. Maar ook hier weer heeft de captain het laatste woord uiteraard.
Salaris jaar 1 - 3 is slecht voor een Westers land : 23-35K
na je upgrade salaris jaar 1 - 10 : 50-110 K
Hoop dat iemand die opzoek is naar een job allicht wat aan bovenstaande heeft.
