GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - May 19, 2008 - European Technology and Investment Research Center (ETIRC) Aviation, the largest shareholder of Eclipse Aviation Corporation — manufacturer of the world's first very light jet (VLJ) — today announced at the European Business Aviation Conference and Exposition (EBACE), the introduction of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) service capability with the selection of two service companies.
Initial servicing of the Eclipse 500 in Europe is now available at JetSupport in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and at Aerlyper in Madrid, Spain. The two facilities provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance including critical Aircraft On Ground (AOG) and
Mobile Response Team (MRT) support for N-registered aircraft. Both facilities have Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified and Eclipse Aviation trained technicians supporting the operation. In anticipation of European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification, ETIRC Aviation is prepared to offer MRO services for EASA certified aircraft. The Aerlyper station in Madrid will be equipped to perform Eclipse authorized modifications to N-registered aircraft throughout Europe. This will assure a smooth transition to EASA registration once EASA Type Certification is obtained.
Beginning on May 26, 2008, ETIRC Aviation's Customer Care Department will be the single point of contact for all European Eclipse 500 customer inquiries. ETIRC's customer care specialists will assist in parts orders, warranty questions, pilot training requests, maintenance training, and any other Eclipse 500 service or support related questions. This will effectively mark the beginning of ETIRC's Eclipse 500 ownership experience in Europe. In the event of an AOG situation, a single call to ETIRC's customer care will ensure dedicated service and technical support.
You can contact ETIRC Aviation via the Customer Care Centre on +31 20 79 75 777 or via
customercare@etirc.com for all Eclipse 500 related inquiries.
