We were at Ski Apache near Ruidoso, NM.
A medivac helicopter was coming in to pick up an injured person.
And this happened. Skill? Luck? ����
Needless to say, the injured person went down the mountain in an ambulance.
Glad this didn't turn out as bad as it couldve.

The 1 time we weren't actually recording����*♀️ So thanks to Pete Hildebrand for sending us this vid to share

New video out of Ruidoso is getting a lot of attention online.

It shows a scary incident involving a helicopter at Ski Apache.

Witness video shows a medical helicopter trying to land at the base of the mountain.

Onlookers say the crew was coming in to medevac a patient
to a nearby hospital,
possibly the victim of a bad mountain bike crash.

The video shows the helicopter take a hard initial landing,
then bounce across the ground and down a slope,
before landing.
