NLS 'Operated' Piper PA34 Seneca.
General Accident 'Report' reminder:
1. An aviation accident is roughly defined in the Convention on International Civil Aviation (also known as Chicago Convention) Annex 13 'Aircraft Accident Investigation' as an occurrence associated with the operation of an aircraft which takes place between the time any person boards the aircraft with the intention of flight and all such persons have disembarked, in which a person is fatally or seriously injured, the aircraft sustains damage or structural failure and/or the aircraft is missing or is completely inaccessible.
2. An accident in which the damage to the aircraft is such that it must be written off, or in which the plane is destroyed is called a hull loss accident.
3. All accident reports are technical documents that reflects the views of the investigation team on the circumstances that led to the accident.
4. In accordance with Annex 13 'Aircraft Accident Investigation' of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, it's NOT the purpose of aircraft accident investigation to apportion blame or liability.
5. The sole objective of the investigation and the Final Report is the determination of the causes, and define recommendations in order to PREVENT future accidents and incidents.
6. Aviation Accident Safety recommendations do NOT constitute any 'personal' suspicion of guilt or responsibility in the accident.
