Unless Uncle Art blows us all away with his, long overdue, novel Ernest K Gann is by far the best author when it comes down to pilot novels. This guy is actually capable of putting down on paper what it is like for us as pilots doing our thing. It is one thing to actually, like most of us, experience it. It is a whole other thing being capable to put this in written. Ernest K Gann proved being capable to put this "emotion of flight" if you will in lame mans language. I suggest ya'll read it.

Het verhaal in dit topic (klik) komt uit het boek 'Vlucht naar Paal 5.8' van Willem van Veenendaal. Net als Viruly een vliegende schrijver of een schrijvende vlieger zo je wilt.
Persoonlijk hou ik wel van die oude verhalen. Net als het boek 'Tussen Hemel en Aarde' van wederom Van Veenendaal en het boek 'Mannen' van Viruly.

Zoek de boeken van John J. Nance maar op. Ik heb in het verleden twee van hem gelezen en vond het best goed.
