Description:
Cessna Aircraft is looking for a few good pilots! Have you ever dreamed of flying for the world’s leader in general aviation and getting paid for it? Then this could be the job for you. Cessna will be filling 10 positions this summer to fly and dispatch the 162 Skycatcher throughout the US.

Responsibilities:
• Attend pancake fly-ins, open houses and other events planned by Cessna
• Take pictures, video and post to Cessna’s social media outlets
• Travel to Cessna Pilot Centers throughout a defined territory and demo CFI’s
• Attend the famous EAA Fly-In in Oshkosh, WI and talk with Cessna customers about your experience flying the Skycatcher

Education: Minimum of Junior in college. Field of study is open although Marketing, Business or Aviation Management a plus.

Position Requirements:
• CFI
• Minimum 250 flight hours (500 hours preferred)
• No incident/accident history
• No FAA action
• Professional attitude
• IMC experience, understanding this is a VFR aircraft
• Recommendation from a university department head
• Target weight +/- 190 lbs
• Target height +/- 72”
• Submission of a video clip and writing samples

Video Sample Requirements:
Please submit a brief video audition (not to exceed 1 minute in length) of why you should be selected for the summer pilot program. You'll need to either upload your video to YouTube and send us a link to your video (or) save your video clip as a .wmv file and email to us as an attachment.

Writing Sample Requirements:
This position will require writing & communicating with fans and followers in different styles and formats. Please develop and submit entries you would post about your first flying experience in the appropriate styles for the following communities:

Gelukkig zijn ze bij die andere vliegclub in Florida ik meen NASA iets makkelijker dan bij Cessna.

Basic requirements for an Astronaut Pilot include the following:

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in engineering, biological science, physical science, or mathematics. An advanced degree is desirable. Quality of academic preparation is important.

2. At least 1,000 hours pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft. Flight test experience is highly desirable.

3. Ability to pass a NASA space physical which is similar to a military or civilian flight physical and includes the following specific standards:

In de VS is het helemaal niet gebruikelijk om masters te doen, over het algemeen gaat men daar na de universiteit als bachelor aan het werk of wordt men direct PhD-student.
 
De meeste advocaten hebben in de VS 'slechts' een bachelor afgerond. Een master doet men daar voor de verdieping.
 
als ik nou cfi was (en faa) ging ik er voor
dit is toch veel leuker dan voor de airlines vliegen :biertje:
