Mijn loss of license verzekering verloopt over een goede week, normaliter is Hiscox netjes op tijd met een voorstel voor de verlenging. Echter dit jaar nog niks gehoord en staat de website van de global flying afdeling op "zwart"

Zijn er nog goede alternatieven voor Hiscox?
 
Bedankt Bobermo voor de info, vandaag ook van een aantal collega's gehoord dat ze zeer tevreden waren over appn.
 
Ik kan dat beamen , er is 15.000 man verzekerd bij APPN.
En als je een schadegevalletje bent ( zoals ik momenteel ) komen ze meteen en zonder discussie over de brug en dat is een zorg minder.
 
Ik had eind december j.l. een email ontvangen met de de volgende tekst (m.a.w. Hiscox is overgeplaatst/overgenomen, maar huidige policies zijn 1:1 overgenomen):

As part of a review prompted by the potential for the UK to leave the European Union, we have taken the decision to transfer the administration of your policy in the future to Millstream Underwriting Ltd* (Millstream). It’s our priority to ensure that we continue to offer you excellent service and we believe that our selected partner, Millstream, will be able to do this.

Your current policy will still be insured by Hiscox which means that the terms and conditions of your policy won’t change and our commitment to providing you with superior service remains.

We will provide Millstream with your policy details so they can be in touch in advance of your renewal date. If you do not want Millstream to handle your policy renewal please contact us within 4 weeks on 01206 773 710 and your personal data will be deleted by Millstream. Please note that we will not be able to offer renewal of your policy in these circumstances. Hiscox will continue to retain your information, in accordance with our privacy policy and retention periods.

Please rest assured that for the remaining period of your current policy you can continue to deal directly with us as you have done in the past. From the point of renewal, Millstream will provide a single point of contact for underwriting, documentation and claims handling for all loss of licence insurance business.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for being a customer of Hiscox and along with our partner Millstream, we hope to continue looking after your insurance needs in the future.

Bij renewal, geen idee of ze nog steeds competitief zijn of uberhaupt Loss of Licences doen.
 
Ik was ook bij Hiscox, heb geen mail in december gehad en wist dus ook niet van de overstap.
Zal nu ook eens rondkijken bij APPN en anderen.
 
Daar ik contractor ben en dus niet in vaste dienst vraag ik mij af of er aanbieders zijn die LOL en Life Insurance aanbieden.
Ik had ergens vernomen dat je vast in dienst moet zijn om een LOL te krijgen.

Wie o wie kan mij hier meer over vertellen?

Ik zit zelf bij Hiscox/ Millstream, Had net 1 maand ervoor verlengt toen ik deze mail kreeg. Zal eind van het jaar is moeten kijken hoe of wat. APPN lijkt mij redelijk stuk duurder vergeleken met wat ik nu heb.
 
Daar ik nog steeds aan het onderzoeken ben waar ik een LOL wil afsluiten kreeg ik toevallig in mijn mail iets aangeboden van Pilot SAAM.

Zit zelf bij APPN maar het kost me wel een rib uit mijn lijf elke maand.
Wordt regelmatig gespamd door Saam Verspieren en mijn interesse is gewekt.

Opvallend weetje; Albert Meijer, account executive bij Saam - Verspieren was vroegâh verzekeringsman bij Driessen verzekeringen.
