Dag iedereen,

Groet Daanveen.

InterCockpit offers integrated as well as modular ATPL ab initio training programs which qualify for the CPL(A) IR (frozen ATPL) according the Joint Aviation Requirements (JAR). These courses enable you to start a career as an airline pilot on an aircraft registered within the Joint Aviation Authorities.

Furthermore InterCockpit offers First Officer Programs which not only provides you with the frozen ATPL, but additionally with a type rating for an Airbus 320 (types A319-321 included) or Boeing 737 classic (types 300-500) or NG (types 700/800) up to the completion of the simulator training (skill test).

Prior to enrolment for one of these courses, we ask you to attend a screening process which will determine your suitability to complete and pass the training. This screening process requires you to pass the GAPF-test (see: www.gapf.de/PEB/Information_eng.pdf) and demonstrate basic knowledge in maths, physics and English.

The standard ATPL course contains 10 months theoretical studies at our headquarters in Frankfurt/M. and 6 months of practical flight training at our flight base in Zadar, Croatia. The entire training program takes approximately 16 months (17 months including type rating).

The theoretical part consists of alternating phases of classroom and home study – a total of around 1,200 hours. After completion of your study you have to take 12 theoretical exams over a period of 3 days at the German Aviation Authorities, short LBA (Luftfahrtbundesamt), in Braunschweig.

The practical training is done on Diamond DA20, DA40 and Piper PA44 aircraft. You will gain 140 hours flight time, 40 hours on a FNPT II simulator, and 10 hours pilot flying (PF) plus 10 hours pilot non flying training time on a 737 or A320 full flight simulator (level D) during the MCC training. If you already hold a PPL(A), a certain number of your flight hours can be credited.

The entire instruction at InterCockpit – in the classroom as well as during the practical training - is carried out in English and we are currently using the Bristol ground school teaching material for our theoretical instructions. All exams are also carried out in English.

The integrated course costs EUR 62,900.- (without type rating) which does not include the fees invoiced by the LBA (a sum of app. EUR 1.000.- for your entire training) and your expenses for accommodation. Payments can be made in one sum at the beginning of the training, or by one downpayment of EUR 19,900 and 12 rates of EUR 3,750 each.

In order to attend the training, non EU-citizens have to organize a visa for Germany and Croatia. EU-citizens only require a visa for Croatia. We will provide you with invitation letters for the embassies in your home country.

The next ATPL courses commence on the 15th of October (sold out!) and 10th of December 2007.

Attached to this e-mail you will find an information file about the contract for the course, a description of the routing to our headquarters at the Frankfurt airport and a “preflight checklist” concerning documents required to start the course.

For getting things organized in order to be able to start an ATPL training with InterCockpit, we highly recommend a trip to Germany app. 4-6 weeks before the beginning of the intended course. Within this stay - we recommend app. 1 week - you should take the GAPF-test, which takes 2 days and has to be attended in Wuerzburg, and the medical examination class 1, which takes 1 day and has to be attended in Frankfurt or Stuttgart. The medical examination in Germany can not be replaced by an examination in your home country (requirement by law). We also recommend a visit to our Headquarters during your visit to Germany.

For an appointment at the Institute of Applied Psychological Studies for the preselection test (GAPF) please contact Prof. Braun: phone +49-931-18387 or e-mail: GAPF_@t-online.de Please inform Prof. Braun about the starting date of your intended course.

For setting up an appointment for the class 1 medical examination you can either call the Lufthansa Aeromedical Center at the Frankfurt airport: +49-69-696-476-01 (only 8 am to 2 pm local German time), or the Aeromedical Center in Stuttgart: +49-711-7949-466.

For more information about our training programs please check our website www.intercockpit.com On the website you can also find the dates of our next “information days” held at the InterCockpit headquarters at the Frankfurt airport (>First Officer Programme>Register for the infoday). We would like to welcome you at one of these open house appointments, showing you around our flight school and being able to inform you personally about the pilot training programs of InterCockpit.

Please feel free to contact us via e-mail or phone, if you have any further questions.

Once again thank you for your interest in InterCockpit.

We look forward to help you in realising your dream to become a professional pilot!

Best regards
