I have spoken to SA CAA again, and they have confirmed that in order for you to fly on a ZS (South African) registered aircraft to log hours, you have to do a validation of your license. This entails an airlaw exam, a flight test and +/- R 700.00 for the application forms.
@Camel, Ik neem aan dat dit Airlaw examen in SA dient te gebeuren, of heb jij dat via je eigen FTO in Nederland gedaan?
